DR. S. B. KALAGBOR CONFIRMED AS RECTOR PORT HARCOURT POLYTECHNIC
The Executive Governor of Rivers State and Visitor to Port Harcourt Polytechnic, Chief (Barr) Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON has confirmed the appointment of Dr. Samuel Bererememam as substantive Rector of the institution.
The appointment took effect from 10th June, 2016 for a tenure of four years in the first instance and eligible for a second term of three (3) years in line with the extant Law of the institution.
Dr. Kalagbor until his appointment was a Chief Lecturer in the Department of Public Administration of the institution.
He holds a Ph.D Degree in Development Studies having acquired his first B.Sc Degree in Public Administration and M.Sc from the University of Port Harcourt. He is a Barrister at Law having acquired LLB Degree from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology and called to the Nigerian Bar (B.L) as Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and belongs to several professional bodies.
He is married to his beautiful wife, Pastor Mrs. Victoria Sam Kalagbor with children.
The Polytechnic rejoices with him and congratulates him for a well deserved appointment.
